Carlos Paredes Fernandez

Bio:

Carlos Paredes is Director of Hotel Development at Hyatt, with over 10 years of experience in the international hospitality industry. He has developed a strong track record in hotel development, investment, and partnerships across Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.

Before joining Hyatt, Carlos led hotel development in EMEA for Fosun Tourism Group, managing the expansion of its hotel portfolio after the acquisition of Thomas Cook. He previously worked as Development Manager at Hotusa International and as a Development Analyst at Meliá Hotels International in the Americas, based in Miami.

Carlos holds an MBA from ICEX Business School (Ministry of Industry, Spain), a certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management from Cornell University, and a double degree in Business Administration and Tourism from Universidad de Nebrija in Madrid.
