Bill Valatsos

Bio:

As a Principal in the European Transactions group, based in London, Bill is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and closing new real estate deals across the UK and Europe as well as managing Harrison Street Asset Management’s existing relationships with operating partners in the alternative asset sectors with a particular focus on lodging & hospitality. 
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, he was an Investment Banking Associate in the securitized products & fixed income division at J.P. Morgan, London focusing on loan acquisitions, special situations, distressed debt buyouts, and CMBS securitizations for real estate assets across the UK and Europe. Previously, he worked as an investment banking analyst at Lazard’s M&A power and energy division. Bill’s principal investment debt and equity experience spans seven European countries and more than €4 billion in real estate transactions, and he has previously served on the board of directors of private companies. 
Bill received his BA in Economics from The University of California, Berkeley and his MS in Real Estate Finance from Columbia University, New York and he is an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and Real Estate Lenders Association (RELA).
